The rhythm

A Day, Paced Like Breath

A fire burning low and slow

Inhale: warmth, water, hands. Exhale: empty hours, tea, dimming light. A retreat day is paced like breathing, and the pacing itself is most of the medicine.

Waking to soft light

Slow waking

No alarm is ever set in the studio. You wake when sleep is finished with you, to light through linen and the smell of warm tea. Breakfast appears when you do — fruit, something warm, no questions about the day yet.

The first hour of a retreat day contains nothing at all, on purpose. It teaches the nervous system the day's first lesson: nothing is required.

The one deep session of the day

One deep thing a day

Each day holds exactly one deep element — the long session — and everything else is shallows: soaks, tea, naps, the window chair. Depth once a day is restorative; depth all day is just another schedule.

Between the deep hour and the evening, the hours are left genuinely empty. Not 'wellness-programmed'. Empty.

The shape of the day

Slow waking

Wake slowly

Light, tea, breakfast in your robe. No clock consulted.

The morning soak

Soak

Deep hot water before the session, to open everything up.

The deep session

The deep hour

Your one long session, private and unbroken.

Empty afternoon hours

Empty hours

Journal, nap, window chair, second soak. Nothing required.

Evening tea

Tea & dimming

A warm cup as the studio lights lower with the evening.

Early night by the fire

Early night

The retreat sleeps early, and so, deliciously, do you.

A warm room, a drawn bath, and days with nothing in them but rest — your retreat is arranged near you, in a private studio kept only for members. Send one message and the concierge holds your quiet dates.
